Despite the recession and economic turmoil that rocked the global market in the last few years, hip-hop is still big business. Look no further than Forbes' 2010 Hip-Hop Cash Kings list for evidence that rhyme still pays. A cursory glance at the list shows it's business as usual for the big guns. 2009's cash king Jay-Z maintains his spot atnumero uno, while Diddy and Akon round up the Top 3. The top 20 earners on this year's Cash Kings list raked in over $300 million in earnings. The only surprise here is that 2008's cash king 50 Cent didn't even crack the Top 10 this year. Peep the complete list:
.Shawn "Jay-Z"
.Diddy" Combs - $30 million
.Aliuane "Akon" Thiam - $21 million
.Dwayne "Lil Wayne" Carter - $20 million
.Andre "Dr. Dre" Young - $17 million
.Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges - $16 million
